Göteborg City Airport is located 1,5 km away from the little harbour in Kvillehed where it is approximately 7 arrivals and 8 departures every day.
The landscape is mainly agricultural land with small forest areas and some smaller spots of bedrock.

In the eastern part of the harbor, there is an outlet of a creek which can be followed throughout the farmland towards east. The harbor is situated in the Nordre älv estuary which is a part of an EU-network containing areas with high nature values worth preserving.

The creek is running mainly through post glacial clay. Overall, the area is dominated by this post glacial clay and bedrock. The coarser sediments like the stream sand are only found in connection to Nordre älv.
